Daisy is mesmerizing, haunted, and consumed by sexual obsession through no fault of her own. We are taken on an erotic journey through her troubled mind, where her obsessive behavior and inner turmoil are laid bare, shedding light on her perversity and the harsh reality it represents for some individuals.

Growing Daisies is an official selection of the New York Independent Art Film Fest which will screen at the Producers Club on November 17th. The short experimental narrative film is directed by Alessandra Gaia Williams.

Alessandra Gaia Williams has been active in the acting world since her debut on HBO's "How to Make it in America." Over the past 15 years, she has appeared in 45 movies and shows. Alessandra has collaborated on multiple projects with Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg, including "Spencer Confidential" and "Mile 22." She has also been cast in Disney/Marvel's "Agent Carter," CBS's "Goldenboy," "Gotham," among others. Alessandra is a student at The Actors Studio and has successfully produced four short films. Her first film, "Consult and Conquer," received two awards at the 2016 Chelsea Film Fest. Subsequently, "Green Kola" was honored with three awards at The Paris Independent Film Fest, London Be Epic Film Fest, and Manhattan Film Fest.

Alessandra is currently working on "Green Kola 2," a film consisting of 9 chapters unfolding over time. Her latest project, where she takes on the roles of writer, director, cinematographer, and editor, is titled "GROWING DAISIES."

Utilizing her personal experience of surviving child molestation, Alessandra approaches this sensitive topic in her latest film in an indirect manner. The culmination of her training at the Actor Studio, personal reflections, and passion for storytelling led to Arielle Raycene, the lead actress in the movie, taking on the role behind the camera. As she embarked on this project, she anticipated creating an intriguing experimental film and delving deeper into self-discovery and the art of storytelling. The film's script was penned in 2017, inspired by a moment of clarity that felt like a beam of light, embodied by Arielle. She became Daisy, evoking emotions through art as a means of healing and reflecting truths back to society for growth and transformation. "Growing Daisies" holds a special place in Alessandra's heart as Daisy truly came to life.
